As Anthrax® co-founder and rhythm guitarist, Scott Ian helped define thrash metal. His iconic "NOT" Rhoads® — a custom Jackson® built in the early 1980s — earned its name from the bold "NOT" body graphics and was central to the band's 1980s recording and touring era.
