The Ibanez AVNB1FE fretless acoustic bass is another wonderful instrument from the Ibanez Artwood series of acoustic bass guitars. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top, this parlor-style acoustic bass puts out an impressive level of volume and rich tone — the type you typically find in acoustic basses at a higher price point. The AVNB1FE features a mahogany back, sides, and neck with an ovangkol fingerboard with classic white dot inlays. The AVNB1FE also comes with a Fishman Sonicore pickup that translates the vintage tone of the AVNB1E beautifully when amplified. If you're looking for an acoustic bass that both looks and sounds truly vintage, the AVNB1E is an absolute must-have.
Beautiful tonewood features
The AVNB1FE is a compact parlor-style acoustic bass guitar that travels well. It's the perfect size for beach jams, living room singalongs, or just sitting on the couch exploring your own style. The solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back, sides, and neck kick out the kind of tone that you normally hear from an aged instrument — full-bodied low end and an even sustain in the treble strings, signature features of vintage acoustic bass guitars. The AVNB1FE also has a shorter 25" scale that makes it especially easy to play.
