Fender Custom Shop '62/'63 Stratocaster LH Journeyman Relic – Aged Fiesta Red
Crafted by the Fender Custom Shop, the '62/'63 Stratocaster LH Journeyman Relic blends vintage authenticity with expert modern craftsmanship. Built with a select 2-piece alder body and finished in a lightly aged Olympic White lacquer, this left-handed Strat captures the spirit of the early '60s with tasteful wear and subtle relic touches.
The rift sawn maple neck features a round-lam rosewood fingerboard, a vintage-correct small headstock, and a comfortable "60s Style Oval C" profile (.790" at the 1st fret, .930" at the 12th). The compound 7.25"-9.5" radius and narrow tall 47095 frets offer smooth playability while maintaining classic feel. Wide Micarta dots at the 12th fret and a LTD decal round out the distinctive look.
Under the hood, a hand-wound Custom Shop '60/'63 Strat pickup set delivers all the chime, glass, and punch of a golden-era Strat. Vintage modified #2 wiring includes a 5-way switch and tone control for the bridge pickup. Dirty relic knobs and covers add mojo to the aesthetics.
Hardware includes a Custom Shop vintage Strat bridge (LH REL), engraved “Limited Edition” neck plate, upgraded '60s-style relic trem arm, and a nitro green guard with aged white plastic. The guitar ships in a Custom Shop brown tolex case.
