Created in close partnership with iconic bassist Tim Commerford—known for his work with Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, and 7D7D—the Artist Series StingRay Bass is a bold tribute to his powerful playing and long-standing relationship with Ernie Ball Music Man. Each model features a unique numbered neck plate and is built with a resonant ash body, roasted maple neck, and a sleek ebony fingerboard for a dynamic, well-balanced sound. A high-output neodymium humbucker pairs with an 18-volt preamp and 3-band EQ, delivering a wide tonal range that adapts easily to aggressive riffs or smooth grooves. The string-through-body bridge, complete with an integrated mute kit, ensures enhanced sustain and precise articulation. Finished with black hardware and a custom adjustable “finger ramp” thumb rest inspired by Commerford’s technique.
