This addition to the popular GS Mini family features layered walnut back and sides paired with a solid Sitka spruce top. Like its other Mini siblings, this modern-day parlor guitar has wowed the world with its fun-size appeal, packing a grown-up guitar voice into a scaled-down form that fits perfectly into everyday life. As active or relaxed as you want to be, having a Mini on hand is like having your songwriting muse on instant demand. And for beginners, it makes an acoustic guitar feel super-approachable. The Mini ships with a durable, lightweight hard bag, allowing you to take it anywhere. An onboard Taylor ES-B pickup/preamp also enables you to plug in and make your voice heard. It features a built-in tuner, low-battery indicator, and tone and volume controls.
FEATURES:
• GS Mini Shape packs a ton of tone into a comfortable travel size, giving you a guitar that's full-voiced and incredibly fun to play.
• Sitka Spruce Top Wood - The soundboard choice for most guitars, Sitka spruce produces a broad dynamic range and accommodates a versatile range of playing styles.
• Walnut Body Wood - Walnut's crisp highs are balanced by a deep, woody low end that emerges as the guitar is played in.
• ES-B Electronics - The ES-B pickup incorporates Taylor's Expression System 2 piezo design elements and features an onboard preamp with a built-in digital chromatic tuner. The preamp/tuner unit features an LED display for tuning and low battery indication, along with Tone and Volume controls. The preamp/tuner is powered by two button cell 3v lithium (CR2032) batteries. Two new batteries will provide approximately 300 hours of use.
• Non-cutaway - The clean, symmetrical look of a traditional acoustic guitar.
