martin-om-45-john-mayer-20th-anniversary-platinum-gray-burst
MARTIN OM-45 John Mayer 20th Anniversary, Platinum Gray Burst
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of John Mayer’s popular OM-28JM model, Martin collaborated again with John Mayer to offer this gorgeous high-end anniversary model. On John’s first signature model with Martin, he chose to include an aluminum border around the headplate and bridge. For this anniversary model, the border is expanded to the fingerboard and pickguard, and the border has been upgraded to a fine silver that will look amazing for the life of the guitar. Like Mayer’s previous models, it includes a thinner 1 11/16th width at the nut for comfort and speed. It also includes stunning satin nickel Waverly tuners. This edition includes a unique label with Mayer’s signature, and will only be available through August 2024, so make sure to check it out soon! If you’re looking for something more affordable, check out the OMJM John Mayer 20th Anniversary model, which is also new for 2023.

Specifications:

Recommended Strings: Authentic Acoustic Lifespan® 2.0 Guitar Strings Phosphor Bronze - Light
Body Size: 000-14 Fret
Finish Top: Gloss
Construction: Dovetail Neck Joint
Back and Side Finish: Gloss
Bracing Pattern: X-Brace
Scale Length: 25.4"
Brace Shape: Scalloped
Fingerboard Width at Nut: 1 11/16''
Top Material: Engelmann Spruce
Neck Shape: Low Profile
Back Material: Guatemalan Rosewood
Neck Taper: Standard Taper
Side Material: Guatemalan Rosewood
Electronics: None

Top:
Top Color: Platinum Gray Burst
Bridge Style: Modern Belly - Drop in Saddle
Binding: Antique White
Bridge String Spacing: 2 1/8''
Top Inlay Material: Abalone with Multi-Stripe
Bridge Material: Ebony
Top Detail: None
Bridge Pin Material: Bone
Pickguard: Ebony
Bridge Pin Dots: Fine Silver
Pickguard Inlay: Custom Inlay
Saddle: Compensated Bone
Rosette: Abalone with Multi-Stripe
Saddle Radius: 16"

Body:
Brace Material: Adirondack Spruce with VTS
Back and Sides Color: Charcoal Toner
Brace Size: 1/4"
Back Detail: None
Back Purfling/Strip: Style 45 with Black Stripe
Back Inlay Material: Abalone with Multi-Stripe
Heelcap: Antique White
Side Detail: None
Endpiece: Antique White
Side Inlay Material: Abalone with Multi-Stripe
Endpiece Inlay: Boxed Abalone Multi-Stripe

Neck:
Neck Material: Genuine Mahogany
Fingerboard Material: Ebony
Finish Neck: Gloss
Fingerboard Width at 12th Fret: 2 1/8''
Neck Color: Dark Mahogany
Fingerboard Inlay Style: Custom
Number of Frets Total: 20
Fingerboard Inlay Material: Abalone with Mother of Pearl
Neck Joins Body At: 14th Fret
Fingerboard Binding Material: Antique White
Side Dots: Abalone

Headstock:
Headstock Shape: Solid with Square Taper and Diamond
Tuning Machines: Nickel Open Gear
Headplate Material: Ebony
Knob: Butterbean
Headplate Logo Style: Block Inlay Golden Era
Nut Material: Bone
Headplate Binding Material: Antique White
Headplate Detail: None

Misc:
Case: Molded Hardshell
Left Handed Availability: True
Label: Embossed Paper Label Signed by John Mayer, Numbered in Sequence with No Total
Pleked: True

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0996/5384/5301/files/OM45_349c4a14-4d1a-403d-ac0f-3f7c9700a639.jpg?v=1783944510
