This guitar isn't just about looks, however. Its light weight, combined with a comfortable Modern “C” neck, ensure that it's a joy to play as well. Heat things up with an awe-inspiring combination of vintage-tinged sonics and modern output, thanks to Yosemite single-coil pickups, while Fender’s Greasebucket tone control keeps things from getting muddy. Beyond that, a 3-saddle string-through-body bridge offers near-endless sustain. This American Performer Sandblasted Tele gives you great tones and striking looks.

Sandblasted for a one-of-a-kind finish
The alluringly unusual finish treatment on this American Performer Sandblasted Telecaster is sure to garner many jealous glances. After Fender applied a transparent finish to this guitar's ash body, it was sandblasted, leaving its surface grain pattern textured with ruts and grooves. Its black grain-filler coat was then visible beneath the color finish coat, creating a one-of-a-kind surface topography — no two sandblasted instruments are alike. Beautifully complemented by a black pickguard, this Tele is an exquisite instrument. Note: The process of sandblasting often reveals natural anomalies within the wood.

Vintage-tinged tone with higher output and modern wiring
While this Fender American Performer Sandblasted Tele is teeming with vintage-tinged tone, its modern output and wiring give it a sound all its own. This Tele’s Yosemite single-coil pickups feature flat-staggered pole pieces, yielding a vintage tonal balance and amp-brutalizing punch. There’s plenty of tone shaping onboard, with a master tone knob, tone control, and a 3-way pickup selector switch.

Greasebucket tone control rolls off highs without adding bass
Fender has fitted this American Performer Sandblasted Telecaster with their Greasebucket tone control, which rolls off highs without adding bass or affecting your volume. This is seriously cool, because it gives you explicit control over your tone onstage without your having to compensate for volume loss — making this American Performer Tele a serious tone machine.

Body Type: Solidbody
Body Shape: American Performer Telecaster
Left-/Right-handed: Right-handed
Number of Strings: 6
Body Material: Ash
Body Finish: Gloss Polyurethane
Color: Sandblasted Natural
Neck Material: Maple
Neck Shape: Modern C
Radius: 9.5"
Fingerboard Material: Rosewood
Fingerboard Inlay: Dots
Number of Frets: 22, Jumbo
Scale Length: 25.5"
Nut Width: 1.650"
Nut Material: Synthetic Bone
Bridge/Tailpiece: 3-saddle Telecaster String-through
Tuners: Fender
Neck Pickup: Yosemite Tele Single-coil
Bridge Pickup: Yosemite Tele Singlle-coil
Controls: 1. x master volume, 1 x master tone, 3-way blade pickup switch
Strings: 9s
Case Included: Gig Bag
Manufacturer Part Number: 0170920321

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0996/5384/5301/files/Fender-American-Performer-Sandblasted-Telecaster-RW-NAT-2_00f815d5-c932-430a-9f63-22f22d7586f2.jpg?v=1782375110
